Susan Calman returns to the Edinburgh Comedy Festival with brand new stand-up show 'Constantly Seeking Susan'. The award winning fireball that is Susan Calman (BBC2's Rad C Nesbitt / Radio 4's The News Quiz) will take you on a journey of her own self-discovery, self-assessment and self-ishness. After all, the show is about her, not you - although she's sure you're lovely.
Having reached the age of 35 and statistically, if she carries on the way she is going, should be dead by 70. Being her own worst critic, Susan wants to find out whether or not the things that she thinks about herself are true or not – with the audiences help. Is she really as selfish, deceitful and downright annoying as she thinks she is? Susan asks those all important questions, like; 'Who am I?', 'Will anyone notice when I’m gone?' and (something we’ve all considered surely), 'How long will I lie in my flat before anybody discovers me?' Stumbling across her own obituary – which she wrote herself one night while drunk – Susan ultimately finds out what her epitaph should be.
Following sell-out performances of her shows over the past two years, Susan has won fans across the board with her performances on BAFTA-award winning Blow Out (Channel 4), Rab C. Nesbitt (BBC2), and Most Annoying People (BBC3), The News Quiz, The Now Show and the Unbelievable Truth (Radio 4).
